OpenAI has opened a Rincon office for team members working on its Effingham County data center, giving the Project Camellia team a local base for connecting with residents.
The office is in The Enterprise Building, which also houses the Effingham County Industrial Development Authority. An OpenAI spokesperson said the team will use the space while working with the community, including local businesses and county residents.
OpenAI has not provided a headcount for the office or clarified whether it is part of a broader expansion in Georgia.
