Long County football runs late — and we mean very late

BULLOCH COUNTY, Ga. — Long County High School’s Saturday night football game stretched into early Sunday morning after weather delayed a game scheduled ahead of the Blue Tide in Bulloch County.

The delay pushed Long County’s start time back to approximately 11 p.m., hours later than a typical high school kickoff.

When we say the night ran late, we mean late. Long County remained at the venue past 2 a.m. Sunday, turning Saturday night football into an all-night event.
