People who apply to Savannah Technical College during its Nov. 7 fall open house will have their application fees waived. The event is free and open to the public.

Attendees can learn about career-training programs and financial aid, and speak with instructors and program advisers. The college says its programs are designed to prepare students for high-demand careers.

The college’s Adult Education division will provide information about GED preparation and other educational options for adults returning to school or changing careers. Cynthia Cradduck, the college’s assistant vice president for public relations and marketing, said the open house is intended for people at different stages, including high school students considering career options, transitioning service members and adults seeking new professional opportunities.
