A Savannah police patrol car and a Ford Escape collided at 12:51 a.m. Friday where 37th Street meets Drayton Street, Georgia State Patrol said.

GSP said the patrol car was heading west on 37th Street and the Ford was traveling north on Drayton Street as they approached the crossing. The front driver’s side of the police vehicle struck the Ford’s passenger side.

The patrol car’s emergency equipment was activated, but officials did not know when it was turned on, according to GSP. The vehicle had no camera footage showing the crash. GSP’s account did not say whether anyone was injured.
