TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. — The Kelpie Pub, whose permit is listed under GW Creations LLC, received a score of 99, or an A, during a routine food-service inspection conducted Sept. 10, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.
The restaurant is located at 725 First St., Suite B.
Inspector Shawn Wallbillich cited one violation for nonfood-contact surfaces, worth one point. Food debris was observed on reach-in cooler gaskets, wire racks in the outdoor walk-in cooler and the walk-in freezer floor. The restaurant was directed to deep-clean the equipment. The violation was not corrected during the inspection and was not a repeat.
