Georgia Ports received Lowe’s Supply Chain Impact Partner of the Year award for service that supported the retailer’s cargo and inland-port network. The recognition highlights performance across both port operations and inland moves.
The award was presented at Lowe’s Supply Chain Summit in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Oct. 13, 2026. The stated criteria included avoiding supply-chain disruptions, dependable cargo execution, solutions tailored to Lowe’s needs and consistent service through inland ports.
The Georgia Ports Authority announced the recognition again on Oct. 14 at its State of the Port of Savannah event, which drew an audience of 1,700.
Georgia Ports President Kevin Price said the organization would continue working with Lowe’s to improve supply-chain efficiency at the port and on inland moves. Chief Commercial Officer Flavio Batista said the award reflected the authority’s work serving Lowe’s and its focus on innovation and operational resilience.
Lowe’s, a home improvement company based in Mooresville, North Carolina, reported fiscal 2025 sales of more than $86 billion.
