Bulloch County Animal Services will make adoptable pets, including several kittens, available to meet at its Jump Into Joy event in Statesboro on Nov. 7 and 8.
The shelter, at 81 Mill Creek Road, will host the event from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The partnership with nonprofit Petco Love will include characters from Warner Bros. Pictures Animation’s “The Cat in the Hat.”
Adoption fees are $50 for a dog and $30 for a cat. Anyone adopting must be at least 18 years old and present a valid state ID.
Adoptable pets are current on vaccines and have been spayed or neutered. If a pet has not yet had that procedure, the adopter will receive a voucher for it at no charge.
