Women facing financial barriers to breast care are the intended beneficiaries of $265,924 raised by St. Joseph’s/Candler’s 24th SmartWomen Luncheon & Expo in Savannah.
The money went to the Telfair Mammography Fund, which helps women pay for mammograms and other breast health services. The fund serves women without insurance as well as those whose deductibles or copays make care harder to afford.
