Seventeen caregivers who completed 100 hours of training through Coastal Care University were celebrated by Coastal Care Partners in Savannah, according to a community announcement.
Longtime Savannah registered nurse Anna Dove led the program, which combined classroom education, practical instruction and hands-on learning. Its curriculum addressed physical, cognitive and emotional challenges caregivers may encounter while supporting older adults and their families.
