Democratic gubernatorial candidate Keisha Lance Bottoms urged Savannah voters to turn out before Election Day, Nov. 3, during campaign stops in the city.
One stop was the NAACP’s annual Freedom Fund Banquet. Bottoms said she would continue campaigning around Georgia.
Bottoms said polls showed her tied with Republican opponent Rick Jackson. She also said Jackson had spent more than $100 million on his campaign, most of it on attack ads against her. The polling assessment and spending description are Bottoms’ claims.
