Ossoff, Slotkin Schedule Savannah Canvass for Oct. 22

U.S. Sens. Jon Ossoff of Georgia and Elissa Slotkin of Michigan are scheduled to host a canvassing launch in Savannah on Thursday, Oct. 22, from 10 a.m. to noon.

The event notice says the senators will speak before attendees head out to knock on doors and talk with voters.

People must sign up to get the meeting address, which is not being shared in advance. Registration requests a name, email address and ZIP code; providing a phone number is optional.

Training is planned at the event. Organizers advised attendees to dress for the weather and bring a fully charged cell phone.
