A closure on E. Broughton Lane is already in effect, with more downtown Savannah restrictions scheduled as the 2026 SCAD Film Fest approaches. The festival is set for Oct. 24-31.

The City of Savannah’s schedule closes E. Broughton Lane between Abercorn and Lincoln streets through 11:55 p.m. Oct. 23. That restriction began at 6 a.m. Oct. 19.

At 7 a.m. Oct. 24, Abercorn Street is scheduled to close between Broughton and Congress streets. The closure is set to end at 7 a.m. Nov. 1.

Two more restrictions begin at 7 a.m. Nov. 1 and remain in place through 11:55 p.m. Nov. 3: northbound Abercorn Street between E. Congress Lane and Congress Street, and E. Broughton Lane between Abercorn and Lincoln streets.

The city says it will mark no-parking zones and post notices in affected areas. Vehicles left in those zones after the specified times will be towed at the owner’s expense.
