All eastbound lanes on I-16 in Chatham County had reopened by 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation. A crash had temporarily closed the right lane.

The crash was located before State Route 17 near mile marker 150. In its earlier traffic notice, GDOT estimated the incident would be cleared by 10 a.m.

Before the lanes reopened, the agency advised drivers to expect delays and use alternate routes.
