Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie and Carrie Underwood were spotted Wednesday, Oct. 28, outside Kehoe Iron Works on Broughton Street in Savannah as “American Idol” prepares for its 25th season.
The series is shifting production from Los Angeles to the Atlanta area. Some auditions are expected to take place in Savannah, though no dates were provided. The new season is expected to premiere in 2027.
Underwood won the competition’s fourth season in 2005 and later returned as a judge. The show also helped launch the careers of Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson.
