JESUP, Ga. — A long, suspenseful journey through the woods is the biggest draw at Web of Fears, where this year’s “Death Row Zombies” attraction takes visitors through Blood Moon Acres.
News Now Georgia staff and their families recently visited the attraction at 3307 Grantham Road in Jesup. Our overall rating: 6 out of 10.
The experience begins inside a building before moving outdoors for most of the attraction. Guests receive a flashlight to help navigate the wooded trails—a distinctive feature that adds to the atmosphere as visitors make their way through the darkness.
Getting there and parking were straightforward. The entrance is directly off a paved road, and parking was easy during our visit.
The strongest feature: its length
Web of Fears delivers an exceptionally long experience. The extended walk keeps visitors anticipating what might be waiting around the next turn, and that sustained suspense was the highlight for our group.
For guests who enjoy spending more time inside an attraction, the lengthy route is a substantial part of its appeal.
Where there is room for improvement
Returning visitors may find the experience familiar. The trails follow the same routes as previous years, although the directional signs have changed.
Pathways now clearly identify “repeat” and “exit” options. While those signs make navigation easier, our group felt they also reduced some of the uncertainty that previously contributed to the experience. Visitors should also pay attention at those intersections: choosing the exit instead of the repeat route means missing a section of the attraction.
Overall, we would have liked to see more changes to the trails and additional creative elements to give returning guests a fresher experience.
Our verdict: 6/10
Web of Fears earns points for its impressive length, flashlight-guided exploration, and sustained suspense. Familiar trails and a more straightforward route kept our rating from being higher.
It remains worth a visit for those who enjoy an extended outdoor haunt, particularly anyone who has never experienced it. Organizers have announced that 2026 will be their final season at this location.
