Republican Jim Kingston won Georgia’s U.S. House District 1 race, receiving 50.7% of the vote in unofficial results as of midnight Wednesday.
At that point, Kingston led Democrat Amanda Hollowell by roughly 3,000 votes. His victory occurred Tuesday.
