Clay Fuller led Shawn Harris by 50,416 votes in Georgia’s 14th Congressional District as of Wednesday morning, Nov. 4. Unofficial returns from the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office showed Fuller with 168,752 votes (58.8%) and Harris with 118,336 (41.2%). The Nov. 3 election is for the district’s next regular two-year U.S. House term, beginning in January 2027.

Several news organizations had declared Fuller the winner, but the state totals were still unofficial. The Secretary of State’s results page listed every locality as reporting when checked, while counties continued election reporting and certification.

Both candidates received substantially more votes in November than in April, though their shares of the vote remained broadly similar. Fuller’s November total was nearly 100,000 higher than his April count, while Harris gained more than 60,000 votes.

The April race was a special election to fill the rest of the term left vacant when Marjorie Taylor Greene resigned. Seventeen candidates appeared on the March 10 all-party ballot, and none secured a majority. Harris finished ahead of Fuller in that round, sending the two to an April 7 runoff.

Fuller won the runoff with 72,338 votes to Harris’ 57,097, or about 56% to 44%, according to official Secretary of State results. He took office April 14 to complete Greene’s term. The November general election, unlike that special election, determines who will serve a full term starting in January 2027.
