A grand jury indicted 34-year-old Richmond Hill resident Porcha Poff this week in a case involving two young children allegedly left in a car outside a Pooler grocery store.

Investigators say Poff left a baby boy and girl in the car during excessive heat at a Publix off Pooler Parkway in July.

They allege the children experienced cruel and excessive physical pain.

Officials say Poff faces charges of second degree cruelty to children and reckless conduct.

The charges are allegations; the indictment does not establish guilt.
