Three motorcyclists died in separate crashes in Bulloch County on Oct. 16, 2026. Georgia State Patrol’s initial findings say drivers failed to yield in two of the collisions.

The Bulloch County Coroner’s Office identified the riders as Angela Snider, 53, of Statesboro; Jeffrey Kearse, 64, also of Statesboro; and Matthew Joseph, 26.

Snider died in a 6:45 a.m. crash at State Route 26 and Mud Road. A Post 45 trooper’s initial investigation found that a Ford F-250 driver failed to yield at a stop sign and entered the path of the motorcycle. The vehicles collided, and Snider was ejected. Criminal charges related to this crash are pending.

At 8:22 a.m., another collision occurred at State Route 26 and Amanda Road. A Ford Focus struck the rear of a Hyundai Sonata as the car turned left onto Amanda Road. A motorcycle traveling west on the highway then hit the Hyundai, ejecting Kearse. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Focus driver was transported to East Georgia Regional Medical Center for injuries.

The third crash took place at 7:15 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Bypass and Brampton Avenue. GSP’s initial account says a 16-year-old driving a Toyota RAV4 failed to yield while turning left onto Brampton Avenue. The westbound motorcycle struck the passenger side of the SUV. Joseph was taken to East Georgia Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.

A GSP Post 45 spokesperson released initial findings about the crashes Saturday afternoon.
